I found the handwritten pages of this true cozy-adventure-mystery story after it washed onto the shore of August Island, NJ. There is no author listed. Written for ages 9-135, I am hoping you can help me figure out who wrote it while solving the mystery along with the Young Detectives.
SYNOPSIS: When twelve-year-old Lucy and her fellow Young Detectives are hired to find a kidnapped pet parrot of unknown origin and incredible linguistic ability, the pack of friends uncover ancient legends of August Island, and soon discover the mystery stretches far beyond a missing bird.
My name is Oosh Sinclair, August Island resident and your narrator. If you have any information about who wrote this book, please email me at whowroteaugustisland@gmail.com

The August Island Society of Young Detectives
Episode 10... In which our heroes come face to face with a wild storm, binoculars, and our villain...
Welcome to Episode 10 of the August Island Society of Young Detectives, in which our heroes come face to face with a wild storm, binoculars, and our villain.
Lucy, Seven, Cornedog and H.W. have never been closer to uncovering the truth and delivering justice. The bad guy lurks, but so do the Young Detectives. Their mistakes have gained them some wisdom… and their wisdom shall bring courage.
I am your host and the one who found this book in the sand, Oosh Sinclair.
At the end of our last episode, we are left to wonder if Lucy is in big trouble. Will the Young Detectives be able to find her? Will they need to perform some sort of rescue mission? Will they be able to find Mona and prove Mr. Boa kidnapped her? Will they eat too much ice cream at the stakeout sleepover? It possible for kids eat too much ice cream? Much will be revealed as we cannonball into chapters 46 through 49.
